RSS News Feeds
What is an RSS Feed? RSS is short for Really Simple Syndication. It's a type of text file (XML) that can be read by a special reader application on your computer. Put the address of our web feed into your reader, and it will display headlines to our latest news items, with a synopsis for each and link that will take you to the full web page. What can I do with an RSS feed? You can use your reader program, also called a 'news aggregator' or 'feed reader', to gather feeds from different sources into one easy place to view them. It's a real time saver, and much quicker than frequently revisiting a site to check for changes. As we update various new items on our site, the feed is updated automatically, and your feed reader will pick that up and display them for you. Here is a list of popular readers: For PC users - FeedDemon For Mac OS X users - NetNewsWire Windows/Mac OS 8-9/OS X/Linux - Amphetadesk Web-based reader (Works in your web browser) - BlogLines Once you have installed a feed reader on your computer you can add the Property Group feed by adding the URI (http://www.property-group.com/rss_feed.xml) to your reader. Setting up a feed differs from one program to another, but it usually involves copying the URL of the feed and pasting it into 'subscribe' in the reader. Using our feedIf you happen to use our feed in a page or blog, we'd be interested to hear from you. Please tell us where the page is and what you are doing with it, by emailing webadmin
